Venue : Examination Hall, Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Hospital (University Campus),

Porur, Chennai.

Last Date for Applying for enrollment for Examination is 18^th April 2008.

PLEASE SEND YOUR APPLICATIONS TO ON OR BEFORE 18^th April 2008.

NO SPOT REGISTRATION.

If you are an Associate Member and you have paid your exam fee you can write your exam. Please come to the exam center with the letter and receipt received from IAP office and please bring a photo identity to check your identity (Like Driving License, Voters ID, College/Hospital ID card etc) at 8.30 AM. The exam will start by 9:30 AM.

Eligible Candidates List will be uploaded in the IAP Website on or before 10^th May 2008.

Registration procedure for IAP Examination.

(Please note those who wish to register for IAP Examination must apply for “Associate membership” and Examination enrollment)

If you are BPT graduate from Institute not recognized by IAP, you have clear the IAP “AM Examination” to become regular member and for which you have to become an “ASSOCIATE MEMBER” by paying Rs.1500/- (Rs. 500 for membership fee, Rs.500 Registration fee and Rs.500/- for examination fee) by DD drawn in favour of “INDIAN ASSOCIATION OF PHYSIOTHERAPISTS” and the Demand Draft should be payable at “SURAT”, along with copy of your Provisional Degree/Degree Certificate(from the University), College Completion Certificate (Period of your study in your institute) Internship Completion Certificate(from the College) , application form (This can be downloaded from IAP website, www.physiotherapyindia.org/applications ) and sent it to Treasurer IAP, Dr.SUBODH G.DESAI, A-101, PARSHVADEEP APTS, NEAR ARJUN COMPLEX , BHATAR ROAD, SURAT 395001 you will get you’re A.M. card. Later find out the Exam date in IAP website (www.physiotherapyindia.org). After passing the exam, later by paying Rs.2500/- with result copy with Membership Application and due enclosures (this will be notifies along with result) you can became a “Life Member” (Demand draft and exam result with application and due enclosures as advised in the result letter).

THE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS IN AM EXAM SCHEDULE

1) Q: WILL I GET HALL TICKET FOR EXAM?
A: NO, THERE IS NO HALL TICKET ISSUED FOR EXAM. PLEASE COME TO EXAM HALL 
WITH THE LETTER AND THE RECEIPT RECEIVED FROM IAP OFFICE ALONG WITH A PHOTO IDENTITY LIKE COLLEGE ID CARD, DRIVING LICENSE, VOTERS ID ETC FOR YOUR IDENTIFICATION.

2) Q: WHAT WILL BE THE DURATION OF EXAM AND TYPE OF EXAM AND SYLLABUS?
A: THE EXAM WILL BE FOR MAXIMUM THREE HOURS WITH MULTIPLE CHOICE 
QUESTIONS AND ALL QUESTIONS WILL BE FROM BPT SYLLABUS ONLY. 50% MARKS IS REQUIRED FOR PASS.

3) Q: WILL I GET CONFIRMATION REGISTRATION IF I APPLY ON OR BEFORE LAST OF 
APPLICATION?
A: YES, YOU MAY GET CONFIRMATION LETTER WITH YOUR RECEIPT BY POST, IF NOT YOU CAN ALSO CHECK FOR ELIGIBILITY LIST FROM IAP WEBSITE ( www.physiotherapyindia.org/Eligible Candidates list for AM Exam –May 2008 at Chennai) . IF YOU DON’T GET CONFIRMATION LETTER, PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR ENROLLMENT FROM IAP WEBSITE BY 10^th April 2008 and if your name appears in the list, then you can attend the Examination.
