PROCEDURES TO BECOME A MEMBER OF IAP



Q1) How To become an IAP MEMBER By Examination


Ans) * Applicant should be a Graduate in Physiotherapy studied in a recognized
University in India with a minimum study period of 4 years full time
programme on campus

You can become an "MEMBER" by appearing in Examination And Passing It.The
Following Procedure Should Be Followed.

* Payment of Rs.1500/- (Including Registration Fee, Annual Fee and Examination
Fee) by DD drawn in favour of "THE INDIAN ASSOCIATION OF PHYSIOTHERAPISTS"
payable at "INDORE".

Following set of attested Copy of Documents must be submitted along with the
Application Form.

* Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate- Issued by the University
* Course Completion Certificate (Period of your study in your institute)
* Internship Completion Certificate from the college

and sent it to

You will be registered for IAP examination.. You will get your enrollment letter. Later find out the Exam date in IAP website (www.physiotherapyindia.org). After passing the exam, later by paying Rs.2500/- you can became a "Life Member"(Demand draft and a copy of exam result from website) to secretary.

Q2) To become an LIFE member,

Ans> Applicant should be a Graduate in Physiotherapy studied in a IAP recognized COLLEGE in India with a minimum study period of 4 years full time programme.

You can become an LIFE MEMBER" by

* Payment of Rs.3000/- Fee by DD drawn in favour of "THE INDIAN ASSOCIATION OF PHYSIOTHERAPISTS" payable at "INDORE".

Following set of attested Copy of Documents must be submitted along with the Application Form.

* Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate- Issued by the University
* Course Completion Certificate (Period of your study in your institute)
* Internship Completion Certificate from the college

Ans> IT USUALY TAKES 2 WEEKS OF TIME WITHOUT POSTAL TIME.

PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE ONLY ONCE YOU THINK THAT AROUND 4 WEEKS ARE OVER INCLUDING POSTAL TIME.

Q1) WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE


Ans > Regarding enquiry on FOREIGN VERIFICATION OF LICENSE AND LETTER OF GOOD STANDING, if you are a LIFE MEMBER of IAP, please send a Demand Draft for Rs.3000/-(MICR COMPUTORISED DD ONLY) For first verification, and Rs.1000/- for every subsequent verification to drawn in favor of INDIAN ASSOCIATION OF PHYSIOTHERAPISTS, and the DD payable at INDORE, along with covering letter and Verification form (if you have it)

Xerox copy of your life membership certificate

Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate- Issued by the University

DATE OF BIRTH

DATE OF GRADUATION

COLLEGE OF EDUCATION

AND COVERING LETTER

and send it TO SECRETARY

I will dispatch once I receive the confirmation from treasurer. U can MAIL me for further clarification.

Ans > USUALY 2WEEKS OF OFFICE DAYS EXCLUDING POSTAL TIME AND FORM DELAY FROM REGISTERING AGENCIES.

PLEASE APPLY AT LEAST SIX WEEKS TO GET EVERYTHING IN TIME AND TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENTS.

Q3) WILL I GET HALL TICKET FOR EXAM?

Ans): NO, THERE IS NO HALL TICKET ISSUED FOR EXAM. PLEASE COME TO EXAM HALL
WITH THE LETTER AND THE RECEIPT RECEIVED FROM IAP OFFICE ALONG WITH A PHOTO IDENTITY LIKE COLLEGE ID CARD, DRIVING LICENSE, VOTERS ID ETC FOR YOUR IDENTIFICATION.

Q4) WHAT WILL BE THE DURATION OF EXAM AND TYPE OF EXAM AND SYLLABUS?

Ans) THE EXAM WILL BE FOR MAXIMUM THREE HOURS WITH MULTIPLE CHOICE
QUESTIONS AND ALL QUESTIONS WILL BE FROM BPT SYLLABUS ONLY. 50% MARKS IS REQUIRED FOR PASS.

Ans) YOU CAN CHECK FOR ELIGIBILITY LIST FROM IAP WEBSITE ( www.physiotherapyindia.org/Eligible Candidates list for AM Exam) . IF YOU DON�T GET your name, PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR ENROLLMENT FROM IAP exam convenor office. and if your name appears in the list, then you can attend the Examination
