IAP Membership Procedures. Those who wish to become member
of “Indian Association of Physiotherapists” should be a Graduate
in Physiotherapy (BPT- Regular Fulltime program only). The membership procedures are
as follow. Life/ Ordinary
Member “Any
person possessing a degree or diploma (unto 1996) in Physiotherapy,
from a School or an Institution in India and recognised by the I.A.P,
shall be eligible to become Ordinary/Life member of the I.A.P”. Associate
member (Temporary Membership for IAP Examination purpose only) Any person
acquiring qualification to practice physiotherapy (BPT) with a course
duration of 4 ½ years (regular full time on campus program only) from
an Institution in India which is not recognised by I.A.P and foreign
trained Physiotherapists from school not recognised by I.A.P. shall
be eligible to become the member of the I.A.P on securing approval of
Educational Committee for Associate Membership. The Associate Member
on passing a qualifying examination conducted by I.A.P. shall become
eligible to become Ordinary/Life Member of I.A.P Procedure to apply for

OF PHYSIOTHERAPIST”, you must be a graduate from IAP Recognised Institute.
If so please send a Demand draft for Rs.3000/- (including Registration
fee and Certificate fee) drawn in favour of
“INDIAN ASSOCIATION OF PHYSIOTHERAPISTS” payable at
“SURAT”, along with attested copy of your BPT Degree certificate/Provisional
Degree(From the University) + college Completion certificate (From the
college you studied mentioning the period you studied there), Internship
Completion Certificate, and application form (this can be downloaded
from IAP website) + covering letter and send it to Treasurer Dr.SUBODH

SURAT-395001.You will get your certificate by post. Ordinary

If you are
Graduate in Physiotherapy (BPT- Full time Regular Program only) from
an an Institution in India not recognised by IAP , you can become an
“ASSOCIATE MEMBER” by paying Rs.1500/- (Rs. 500 for membership fee,
Rs.500 Registration fee and Rs.500/- for examination fee) by DD drawn
in favour of INDIAN ASSOCIATION OF PHYSIOTHERAPISTS payable at SURAT,
along with copy of your Degree Certificate(from the University), College
Completion Certificate (Period of your study in your institute) Internship
Completion Certificate(from the College) , application form (This can
be downloaded from IAP website) and sent it to Treasurer IAP, Dr.SUBODH
G.DESAI, A-101, PARSHVADEEP APTS, NEAR ARJUN COMPLEX , BHATAR ROAD,
SURAT 395001 you will get you’re A.M/Examination enrolment letter.
Later find out the Exam date in IAP website (www.physiotherapyindia.org) and appear for examination. After passing the exam, by paying
Rs.2500/- you can became a “Life Member”. Procedure for Life membership,
fee and enclosures to be sent will be communicated along with Examination
result letter. FOREIGN VERIFICATION ENQUIRY Dear Member,
Regarding your enquiry on “FOREIGN VERIFICATION OF LICENSE AND LETTER
OF GOODSTANDING”, if you are a LIFEMEMBER of IAP, please send a Demand
Draft for Rs.3000/-(MICR – COMPUTORISED DD ONLY) For first verification,
and Rs.1000/- for every subsequent verification to drawn in favour of
INDIAN ASSOCIATION OF PHYSIOTHERAPISTS, and the DD payable at SURAT,
along with covering letter and Verification form (if you have it) Xerox
copy of your life membership certificate and send it to me and I will
dispatch your verification letter to the Foreign Authority and send
the receipt to your local address soon I receive from treasurer. LIFE MEMBERSHIP &
FOREIGN VERIFICATION ENQUIRY
Regarding your enquiry for “Life Membership
in the INDIAN ASSOCIATION OF PHYSIOTHERAPIST” and Foreign Verification
together”, you must be a graduate from IAP Recognised Institute. If
so please send a Demand draft for Rs.6000/- (MICR Computerized DD from
any Indian Nationalized Bank) drawn in favour of
“INDIAN ASSOCIATION OF PHYSIOTHERAPISTS” payable at
“SURAT”, along with attested copy of your BPT Degree certificate
+ college Completion certificate (From the college you studied mentioning
the period you studied there), Internship Completion Certificate, and
application form + covering letter and send it to Treasurer Dr.SUBODH
G.DESAI, A-101, PARSHVADEEP APPARTMENT, near ARJUN COMPLEX, BHATAR ROAD,
SURAT-395001.You will get your certificate by post.
The said amount of Rs.6000/ includes Life membership fee and Foreign
Verification Fee. (Pls. mention where / which agency the verification
letter to be dispatched in your covering letter and the Verification
