Brief History & Demographic Information- Nagaland

The State of Nagaland was formally inaugurated on December 1st, 1963, as the 16th State of the Indian Union. It is bounded by Assam in the West, Myanmar (Burma) on the east, Arunachal Pradesh and part of Assam on the North and Manipur in the South. The Naga people are various ethnic groups with a history of fierce independence and love of freedom. The Indian Association of physiotherapy Nagaland Branch (NPANB) was formed in 2018. The association represents almost 96 members distributed throughout all provinces and territories in the states and has been working to create a healthier future for patients by conducting various health camps and health awareness programs in the state. The association also dedicated in adopting the methodology of vital records registration of states members.
