Tripura is a hilly state in northeast India, bordered on 3 sides by Bangladesh, and home to a diverse mix of tribal cultures and religious groups. In the capital Agartala, the imposing Ujjayanta Palace is set among Mughal gardens, and Gedu Mia’s Mosque has white marble domes and towers. South of the city, Neermahal summer palace sits in the middle of Lake Rudrasagar and blends Hindu and Islamic architectural styles.

The State of Tripura has a long history. The Twipra Kingdom at its peak included the whole eastern region of Bengal from the Brahmaputra River in the north and west, the Bay of Bengal in the south and Burma to the east during the 14th and 15th centuries AD.

Culture of Tripura enriched by mixed culture of indigenous people and Bengali community people.The Indian Association of physiotherapists Tripura Branch was formed in 2010. The association represents almost more than 100 lifetime members distributed throughout all provinces and territories in the states and have been working to create a healthier future for patients by conducting various health camps and health awareness programs in the state. The association also dedicated in adopting the methodology of vital records registration of states members.
