International Committee of The Red Cross (ICRC) had a collaborative discussion with The Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP)

International Committee of The Red Cross (ICRC) had a strategic and collaborative discussion with The Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) On 14th September,2016 at Delhi for Rehabilitation of Physically Impaired. From ICRC Dr.Roberangelo Ciccone (Project manager),Er. Anil Kumar Singh ( Asst Project manager), Dr. Charu Sharma ( PT Field Officer) and from IAP Dr.Umasankar Mohanty, President,IAP and Dr. Prabhat Ranjan, Cental Executive Committee member, IAP participated in the meeting.
We have discussed to train and certify Physios to issue Physical Impairment/ Disability certificate in coming times.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is a humanitarian institution based in Geneva, Switzerland and the organisation has received Nobel Peace Prize three times(1917, 1944, and 1963) for the service to Humanity. From IAP we are proud to have established collaboration with reputed International organisation ICRC. In first phase we will be collaborating at Srinagar, Raipur, Vellore, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad.
