on it on a large scale.
Dr. Jha- Sir if you have any written subject over it and you can send it to us, we will talk to UGC. At
present we are putting our file for DPT. (Doctorate in PT). So if you want this part to start better it is
send to us some written matter over the subject as soon as possible. We will give it to our education
committee we will try to find broader aspect of implementation.
Dr. Sanjay- My suggestion is, committee should explore, the possibility of clinical specialisation,
as we are linked with WCPT and other organisations they all have such programs and specific
purpose. Even you said about doctorate programs there are clinical doctorate also. Unfortunately in
this country people will do clinical doctorates and come back here also get into the academics. The
reason is the demarcation of the clinical programs and academic programs is not there in our
country. So there is a big scope for that. I would like to have a word on it with the academic
committee. We have discussed it on different platforms earlier also but I don't think anything has
happened.
Dr. Jha- Sir we are open for all the constructive ideas and you r idea is appreciable if you can put it in
writing to us we will have a base to work on it. Now a days it is like file going to a system. Once you
send it to the system, we will process it.
Dr. Sanjay- My second question is related to the fee of services. We are charging 3000/- for
verifying the credentials for overseas assignments. From what I have realised if a person not
registered to the IAP is applying for the same, and he simply puts “NA” against the column there his
credentials are also done. And a person who writes “YES” and writes IAP there they are ask for a
letter, as it's there in the system. And a member is paying 3000/-. Do you think it is just for a member
to pay a fee which is actually waste of money because the other guy also gets the same credentials
approved. I can give an example, of the US credentials by FCCPT is one of them there is such
column and they ask do you have a body in India and who writes NA are also getting their
credentials approved. My question is for everyone here so you should not stop me, actually instead
of writing “NA” you make a mistake of writing “YES” in the column, because we want to give the
organisation credit which you're a part of and we are getting charged for it, don't you think it's
injustice, I want everyone to think of this question, and then you can giveme an answer.
Dr. Jha- I agree with your point, but it is not in all the countries, it is there only in America and
Canada if you write it that happens. Se if you go to Dubai, and other countries, they require a goods
standing certificate.
Dr. Sanjay- the problem is they are mislead. I am just asking, why can't we just give them free of cost
to themembers.
Dr. Jha- See I assure we can think over it, we can think of giving it free of cost as well. But let's see
whenwe can start it.
Dr. Richa- Related to that there are clinical instructor course, and nother one is PTED, physical
therapy education, if they want to be in the education part, we can give PTED, in clinical aspect it is
C1. If we have that approach, we can do it. But we do have few issues in the career itself. Once we
